Local Support Group Details

HELLO! For those of you who wanted to know where the Old Highland Breast Care Ctr Support Group is now held:

Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester, 840 University Ave., Rochester. That's between Culver and Goodman. It's a nice old building on the North side of University. Plenty of open street parking if you can't get into the lot. Join this group by attending, or by phoning Claire. You can contact me for Claire's phone number.

The groups meet every 3 weeks on a Tuesday, at 5:30 pm. The 2008 dates are as follows: We will start the dates from December 18th. So they will be: Jan 8, Jan 29, Feb 19, Mar 11, Apr 1, Apr 22, May 13, June 3, June 24, July 15, Aug 5, Aug 26, Sept 16, Oct 7, Oct 28, Nov 18, Dec 9, Dec 30. You can send me a message if you would like to meet me there to attend for the 1st time.

It's a lovely group of warm, thoughtful, supportive women with only the best in mind. Everyone feels right 'at home,' there. It's a great because the girls have a real sense of what you have been through, and how you might be feeling. We are always pleased to see our sisters, when they can attend! You can give me a holler any time you are going, and want to look for someone, coming in the door. If I'm not going to be there, I'll let Claire or Renee know to look for you. ~ k
